Training Presentations


The Energy Solutions Center, Inc. funded the development of a training/applications manual for the proper application of natural gas engine-driven air compressors. TA Engineering, Inc. developed this manual in January 1998.

The manual was developed to provide direction for the proper application of engine-driven air compressor technologies, and thereby help consulting engineers, design/build contractors, industrial plant managers, and facility managers to correctly apply engine-driven air compressors in the field.

It provides broad perspectives on air compressor equipment, operation, uses, and implementations of several feasible systems, including heat recovery. It also includes general discussion on issues related to installation and maintenance of engine-driven air compressors.

Presentations highlighting each section of the manual are available below. These presentations can be downloaded and used by gas company marketing staff for developing presentations for training new staff and for making presentations to their potential customers.
